★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本書紀によると斎名天皇が雨乞いをしたとされる場所です。
清浄な雰囲気があり、癒されます。
正面まで降りていくのがやや困難な場所です。
滝と淵を見下ろす位置に金属の看板が出ています。
その看板に書いてある事にしたがって、さらに1.5キロほど奥飛鳥のさらに奥に進めばこの女渕と対である男渕があります。
かなり山道を歩いて行く必要があり、スマホの電波も届かない場所です。
男渕は上から見下ろすことはできますが、正面まで降りていくことは、危険過ぎて冒険野郎でないと出来なさそうでした。
下から沢登していけばあるいは正面に出れるかなとも思うので、夏に挑戦してみようかと思っています。

宮崎アニメに出てきそうなところです?
下の集落も、趣きあり。
