The first time I asked for a parent bird and a chicken wing, I was angry with the fish. The sashimi, grilled fish, and squid that I asked for were delicious.

丸ハギなんてチョット気取った店なら何千円なのにココは千円以下。素晴らしい。

隠れ家的な居酒屋でアットホーム。
ここのシメサバは絶品のようですが、今回は残念ながら品切れ。
写真の押し寿司も大変人気のようで、事前に電話で予約しておくのがお勧め。
カウンターに並んでいるおばんざいもどれも優しい味付け。
ひとりで飲みたいときにも是非利用したいと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favourite izakaya in Marugame. Run by a lovely husband and wife it only serves food that is available that day. Inside it is small: an L-shaped counter can sit ten people, and at the back is a private room. Most of the dishes are seafood: crab, fish, clams of various types but some beef is also served. Good local sake is offered and the atmosphere is very relaxed and happy.
