★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The views are awesome. The spa is lovely. The one star I take away is for the room is old fashioned Japanese style very small but was cute also to eat in restaurant was like all Japanese places very expensive and we had Western food not up to standard!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome hotel. A bit pricey but you immediately know where your money goes. There are two hot baths, one overlooking Mt Fuji and the other is a garden. Food is excellent but again, very costly for what you get so evaluate whether you want to eat down at the lake. The shuttle takes you down from the hotel which is good because it is high up and walking really is not an option. Rooms are very spacious and have large bathrooms. Overall a great place with great service and ideal for enjoying the mountain and lake Yamanakako.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location. Unbeatable view from everywhere in the hotel, even from guest rooms. Great service. Although a bit dated, parts of the hotel is renovated and kept nicely clean. Have to pay for swimming pools but who needs the pool with 2 great Awesome Onsens. A bit away from any civilization but have free shuttle service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel has a most beautiful view I have ever had in my life! It was amazing! Lake and a Mount Fuji together are making surroundings like a fairytale.Spa in the hotel was great, with warm spring water, jacuzzi - excellent, all additional amenities were from famous Japanese cosmetic companies. The service and rooms very nice . The only thing what I didn't like was that the dinner was very expensive (more than 50 euros per person) , so one has to go downtown if he wants something cheaper. The shuttle bus to and from hotel to bus stop available only upto 8 pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the hotel is there since 1963, it has been renovated and our room was modern and the bathroom was all new. It still looks quite run down on the outside, which is still better than the other way around :)
Breakfast buffet was not bad at all compared to other hotels in the area. Especially if you like Japanese traditional breakfast.
The best part of the hotel was the onsen, it had jacuzzi with cold water! A big bath with jets of cold water! It was great after a nice hot sauna.
It had two places with onsen, confirm in advance which one you want to go to!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice hotel close to Mt. Fuji with decent view of Mt. Fuji depending on the room. I was expecting a better view of Mt. Fuji since I had to lean out of the balcony to get a view of it but I had a great view of Lake Yamanaka. I reserved a stay with 2 meals, and thought the dinner could be better but at the price point I can't really complain. The hot spring was nice with great view of Mt. Fuji.
Without a car its hard to imagine staying here since its up a small hill, but they do have bus services.
Would definitely recommend if you're finding a place to stay in the area!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel offers one of the best views of Mt Fuji and Lake Yamanaka from the property. Both our room and the onsens had direct line of sight.
Best advice is to make your reservation early as this place does book fast. Rooms are very spacious and clean with a balcony. The restaurants offer Japanese, French, and buffet menus. The onsen has a sauna with both indoor and outdoor hot and cold baths. Overall, had a great experience!
