高台だけあって眺めがとても良いです。
雨の日は滑るので気をつけてください。

営業再開は秋ごろ。とのこと、かなり大雑把ですな。せめて何月か決めてほしいところです。あと、ホームページがあれば事前に調べれたのですが。。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古民家2階建てで、2階がカフェスペースになってます。階段は狭く急なため、杖を使用される方のご利用はできませんと書かれてありました。
窓からは景色が一望できます。メニューはドリンクとベーグルのみ。デザート的なものはありません。
It is a two-storeyed old house and the second floor is a cafe space. The stairs were narrow and steep, so it was written that people using canes were not allowed.
You can overlook the view from the window. The menu is only drinks and bagels. There is no dessert thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is by far one of the best hidden gems I've found since I've started living here a few years ago.
It takes a very long walk through Onomichi to get here and a trek through unmarked paths, but the payoff is amazing.
Simply a small house on the mountain side, a japanese room with 6 tables and the gorgeous view.
I've had the soup of the day and bagel combo with fresh juice. The soup was a highlight; a deep potato and bacon stew with a variety of vegetables. The bagel was hot and fluffy, full of orange peels and nuts. The fresh 100% Mikan juice was also freshly squeezed.
The service was very courteous. The menu had some simple English, if you're worried about that. I highly recommend a trip here, especially if you decide to take the cable car to visit the nearby temple for a quickly, well deserved rest
