It was so good that even after a full plate, I wanted more.
The chef takes great care in preparing quality food (the cilantro was fresh and plentiful) and keeping the place very clean. He is also down to earth, and the price is right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great curry, especially for the price. Slightly spicy, a little less sweet than most Japanese curries. 10/10 would eat again.
Put your luggage in the lockers at the station and come here. Or, if you only have a small bag, there's plenty of room at the counter for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good curry restaurant near Kyoto Station. The owner is adorable and the price is extremely reasonable. The tonkatsu on the curry is fresh and crunchy as it should be. The recipe of the curry is made by the owner himself!
The place is new so the restaurant is sparkling clean.
I definitely recommend the place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omg delicious! It’s a short walk across Kyoto station. Was supposed to go to En Izakaya across the street but they were full house. So relieved I decided to go for curry instead!! It’s a one man show over here. You purchase your curry using the vending machine. The sauce was not too sweet, a tad bit spicy but tasty. The usual curries I have always make me feel sick mid way due to its richness. I finished the entire plate! Eat it with pickles!! Very authentic. The best part is that it’s affordable and yummy! - from a Japanese curry fan
