陈	陈云帆 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very traditional Japanese restaurant. The food was okay and the atmosphere is awesome. Only a designated location is for smoking so the air is also clear. Though it's a little bit expensive. They provide all you can drink option.
R	Raymond Wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very comfortable place for dining. Has a very traditional feel about it. The soul set is amazing. Not sure what's the name but it's the white color soup with some sort of collagen thingy. The egg rice is marvelous and definitely worth a try.

Although this restaurant offer very luxury local food such as Mizutaki at the dinner, you can eat it at a super low price during the lunch time(around 1000-2000yen). You will also be surprised the interior that is furnished in traditional Japanese architectonic styles despite its location, in the central area in Shinjuku.

Dinner is a little pricy for over 10000yen per person but it's totally worth it if you can afford it. But for ppl who don't know if they like it or not, the lunch set is affordable, same quality as the dinner and you can experience this signature dish in Tokyo. Highly recommended!
E	Emilee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there on Friday night, but we were told that they are fully booked. So, we were told to walk-in at 5pm on Saturday, which is today. So we did. To our surprise, we can only order set menu, which the cheapest one would cost ¥8,640/pax. No ala-carte at all. Our intention of visiting is to try their chicken soup as it was recommended by Google. To our disappointment, the food was just ordinary. To cut short, the fried fish appetiser taste bitter, the cold appetiser was really normal. The chicken broth in the pot was nice, but I'm quite sure packet 鸡白汤 were mixed into the broth for flavor enhancement. The chicken pieces in the broth were obviously the remains from the long brewing broth which is really rough to swallow. The chicken meatballs were not smooth either as it made from chicken breast meat. There's no rice were served to go along with the chicken soup pot. But after we finished broth, with some pathetic chicken pieces untouched, they serve us a bowl of rice drenched with chicken soup. And the rice wasn't pure Japanese rice. They mixed with other long rice grain! Absolute disappointment. Paying ¥8,640/pax for this meal? This is cut throat expensive. The most unworthy meal that I've ever paid in my life. I feels that I've just been robbed.
