★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雛祭り期間に行きましてガイドさんにお願いしたところ、説明をしてくれました。
天保12年に大火事があり、建て替えの際に防火性に優れた漆喰壁にして、もし火がついた場合には袖蔵の正面下に塗り土があり防火したそうです。
矢口家住宅の中に入れさせて頂きまして、矢口家の生活した部屋にかなり急な箱階段、2階には従業員の泊まり部屋があり、何故か当時の銀行は矢口さんにお金を預けてたらしく、4重の扉にガラス張りの中に金庫があったのは面白かったです（笑）
家紋の話や、塗り土の他に屋根をすぐ外せるやり方等、とても分かりやすく教えてくれました。
