★ ★ ★ ★ ★ アーケードには取れたての野菜直売やってました、小さな魚屋さんがあり新鮮な魚をその場で調理して食べさせてくれます、カウンターだけの小さなみせがいい感じ。
There were small fish shops selling fresh vegetables directly to the arcade, there is a small fish shop where fresh fish are cooked and eaten on the spot.

I have traveled on Route 8 (Kyoto-Niigata). It is the place where that Route 8 started. I am sorry that the photo is dark because the arrival was at night.

アーケード内は大手のチェーン店は少なくー地元のお店がほとんど。
雰囲気も良し。
少しだけ遅目の朝飯を食べるのは贅沢てす。
イートインの鮮魚店は9時開店。
朝食後はレトロな喫茶店でコーヒーを飲めば完璧。
この雰囲気を意地して欲しい素敵な本町界隈です。
My favorite place in Niigata city.
There are few major chain stores in the arcade-mostly local stores.
The atmosphere is also good.
It's a luxury to eat a little late breakfast.
The eat-in fish store opens at 9 o'clock.
Perfect for a cup of coffee at a retro coffee shop after breakfast.
It is a wonderful Honmachi neighborhood that I want you to feel this atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 40年ほど昔の記憶とあまり変わることなく、今でも新潟らしい地の農産物や生花などを陳列販売する出店が朝から夕方まで現れます。
タイムスリップしたような安堵感。
イトーヨーカ堂もあり、新潟滞在中は食材をこちら周辺にて購入いたしております。
アーケード入口には気温が表示され、季節ごとの新潟を体感いたしております。
There are still stores that display and sell local agricultural products and fresh flowers that are typical of Niigata from morning till evening, which is not much different from the memory of about 40 years ago.
A feeling of relief that feels like you have slipped back in time.
There is also Ito-Yokado, and during my stay in Niigata, I buy ingredients around here.
The temperature is displayed at the entrance of the arcade, and you can experience Niigata every season.
