★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつて近江八幡警察署長の官舎だった建物です。それ以前は豪商の森五郎兵衛の控え宅だったそうです。弁柄塗りの壁が目を引きます。なにやら遊廓のようにも見えますが、客をもてなすために使っていた家なのかもしれませんね。
This building was once the official residence of Omihachiman Police Chief. Before that, it was the home of the wealthy merchant Mori Gorobei. The petal-painted wall is eye-catching. It looks like a Yukaku, but it may be the house used to entertain guests.
